For all new UK-based patients. Physiotherapy does not replace a veterinary diagnosis. In case of acute changes in condition, obtain a referral from your registered vet.

Before your appointment

✓ Horse:

Please have your horse ready with a halter and lead in a quiet area. The horse should be dry and clean, including the feet. A flat, firm surface will be required for dynamic assessment. You may be asked to present your horse on the lunge and ridder if it is safe to do so. Do not feed your horse 1-2 hours before the visit.

Duration: ~ 60-75 minutes

✓ Dog:

Please have your dog ready with a collar and lead in a quiet area of your home away from other dogs and distractions. The dog should be dry, clean, and allowed to a toilet before the session. A flat, firm surface will be required for dynamic assessment. Do not feed your dog 1-2 hours before the visit.

Duration: ~ 45-60 minutes

Veterinary Referral (2) is required for all new UK patients.

Please note, physiotherapy does not replace a veterinary diagnosis. In case of acute changes in condition, please, speak to your treating veterinarian to obtain a Veterinary Referral (2).

Veterinary Referral Form

For all new UK-based patients, referral is required to comply with the current UK legislation (Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, Animal Welfare Act 2006). It allows us to focus on the exact diagnosis and provide the best care and outcome possible.
